cstout30's Journal, 11 March 2015

Woke up feeling good. My jeans were able to be pulled off yesterday without unbuttoning them. My belt barely works now as it's on the first hole. I guess I'm losing belly and butt fat but the weight is up a few and down a few. I wonder why the weight is doing that. Maybe it is going down but in a fluxuating pace. I think it all depends on when I step on the scale. My carbs are a little high today but at lease 50 of them are from fruit. No chance to eat at home and drink a shake. Straight to the chiropractor after work and then to pick the boys up from their grandmother's. Then to Wed. evening prayer meeting. It will be almost 9 when I get home. It will be a wacky day. I don't like eating Subway because the bread is pretty high in carbs.

Sounds like you're a mom like me... WAY TO GO MOMMA!!! Keep up the good work :) Subway salads are very good, rather than the sub sandwich, I can vouch for that. Enjoy your evening tonight. God bless.

I'm not a mom. I'm a dad doing it on my own.

You know, I can never figure out why 'Subway' is often suggested as a low calorie meal. You are right That's a lot of bread. Wishin' you the best on the busy schedule. :)

It all comes down to what you put into your subway sandwich. I'm guessing no cheese or mayo, but loads of veggies. Sound good. I'm on a low carb diet so I'm not too sure what the carbs are in the sandwich roll. but I'm sure it's pretty high.

I guess if I get flatbread instead that will help. I can't eat a sandwich unless it has mayo on it. I can't help it... I'm American. I have a double meat coupon so perhaps it will increase the protein. I may be able to hold the cheese. I'll ask them if there is a lower calorie or better cheese in their little tubs. As for walking at lunch... That is on hold for now... the bridge that crosses the river where I work is covered with 7 inches of ice on the walking side. I want to stay on the bridge and not swim in a cold muddy river for lunch. Besides, it would make my sandwich soggy. lol. I'll start walking as soon as I see the ice is gone. Have a great day everyone and thanks for the support.

I'm told you can ask Subway to dig out most of the bread when you order your sandwich leaving mostly the crust, but honestly, I've never done that. Maybe that would help with the amount of bread? Looks like you've made lots of progress. Keep up the good work.
