Thank you all. Your kind words always mean so much to me!❤️ For some reason picture we took was a bit blurry but my mom looks amazing for 95. She uses a walker to get around and doesn't see well but otherwise is still pretty sharp. We are leaving tomorrow for home with her for 10 days then will come back here for her big 95th birthday party. Just hope she does well on trip! 💜💜💜

My mother was sharp as well at 97, but refused to wear her hearing aids so I couldn’t talk with her much. Stubborn. You’re a good daughter!💜

Shrew, my mom also doesn't hear great but we can at least talk. As long as I talk loud and repeat she is ok.. We always had plans to record her but she hated it so it never worked well. I hate that we missed that opportunity. I think I mentioned before but she has many stories about the Russians invading her town and raping and killing her grandparents. They put the girls in the basement, not realizing there was a door to outside. She and my Aunt escaped and were picked up by an American tank that took them to a safe city. It took them 5 years to find their mom and dad after the war.
