Such a lonely lunch.
My honey left for the week to be w/her mother & grandkids at the beach.
Been food binging for a few days, and just now starting to get back in the groove...
Lonely, heartbroken, and compensating with food...
Sigh... 😔💔🍽️...⚖️📈

Doesn't really look like bad choices in food and a bottle of water too! Sorry you are lonely and it's too bad you couldn't go to the beach too.

Thanks Fritzy... I love the shopping, sight seeing and dinners, and even the fishing... But just laying around in the sun all day isn't really my gig... 🍽️🛒🐟🔆😎 This is probably my first calorie conscious meal in a few days ... Was gonna have almost the same thing, but swapped out the pork rib for ham rolls at the last minute so I can have that heavier meat later tonight. Also, I was preoccupied while making my lunch, and I forgot to add croutons, so this extremely filling and satisfying meal came in at an estimated whopping 364 calories!! Woohoo!! 🎉

Hang in !! I have been there, and when my family comes (all 12 of us) for a few days, those calories really add up. I usually compensate when my wife is out of town. My breakfasts are almost always the same,...either 2 eggs & toast with a Laughing Cow cheese + 2 oz of OJ and 3 tbsp of fat free 1/2 & 1/2 for coffee OR Oatmeal with the juice & coffee. Depending on prep those breakfasts are between 300 and 350 calories. Lunches are a 3 cup vegetable salad, homemade lo-cal ranch dressing (made with yogurt rather than mayonaise), piece of fruit, and some Blue Diamond Crackers. That is again about 350 calories. Sometimes I have Progresso Soup + crackers which is about 325 calories. Then, dinner is whatever I fix up to about 1000 - 1200 calories. When my wife cooks, it is still the same 1700 - 2000 calories, but much more varied,....and better.

Bionic... Thanks for the encouragement! I'm just about to make this same meal again for lunch today.... Yesterday was a blowout due to having to use up a large tin of leftover nachos so as not to be wasteful... Got it "planned" for large meals & snacks today, all without going over my calorie limit... We'll see how that goes!! 🤣
