Weight is the same today, I guess. Kept getting different weights on the scale in a 3 pound range but yesterday's weight was in the middle of the range. I had tacos yesterday. Don't know when I'll get over this craving of tacos. Even though my calories for the day are okay, eating tacos is not low fat. The plan was to have tacos again today, but I've decided against it. Cooked up the ground beef this morning, had a bite or two and gave the rest of the 4 ounces to Bobby and the cats. If I go off the low fat plan I need to do it just one day, not 2 or 3 days in a row. I've been having success with a baked potato most days as the main "meal" with barbecue sauce, no butter, no cheese. I finally finished off the box of toaster strudels in the freezer. Now I have a box of Eggo waffles I purchased for the house sitter. I'll just have 1 a day. The freezer is so small I need some room in there.

I opened the sliding glass door from my bedroom to the deck around 9:30 last night and a fox was on the deck. Just looked at me and then left. Hadn't seen a fox for month and if this was the same fox, he's all grown up now.

I think that's always the key. It's on to go off plan, but NEVER two days in a row! Good job!

Have you ever tried lentils with taco seasoning? Dunno if that would satisfy your taco craving, but I like it

Taco salads do it for me.

Thanks Morticia - I don't try to make tacos healthier unless it's buying lower fat beef. Thanks DP - I've been able to work the tacos into my eating plan when I just worried about calories. But now, with low fat I don't want to go off plan more than once a week if possible. Thanks Writingwyo-no, I've never tried lentils with taco seasoning. I'm not crazy about lentils. Sometimes I'll add a tablespoon or two to stews or soups just to get a little more protein. I have thought about kidney beans instead of meat in tacos but hadn't thought about using the taco seasoning. I may give it a try. Diana - I haven't had a taco salad in years. Used to love them.

If you're not crazy about lentils, not so good an option. What works for one of doesn't work for all! Sounds like your strategy of buying low fat beef is a good one 👍
