Drive to pick K up was uneventful. Rained and snowed all the way over. On the way back it was sunny except for a wall of rain moving over a mountain meadow. Was beautiful and impressive.

The scenery lifted my spirits. Things have been off kilter for the last few days. My edema is worse. Can't get any of my rings on. Hubs truck cost $1000 more than anticipated. Had to use the credit card as my debit has a $1000 day limit. Hate using credit. I have been wanting cheese curds so bought some. I should have known better. Wisconsin curds are the only true curds. That quick flash of salt and then the squeak against your teeth. Might have to drive over and stock up.

The arrogance and lack of mental flexibility of so many on this site has been discouraging. Enough so I considered leaving. Then I reminded myself that I was in a job where I received threats regularly. Some periods required actual security. I handled that for years. So I decided to ignore the little piss ants. Or call them out. My! I am in a foul mood.

So sorry you have had some bad interactions here on FatSecret, but SO glad you are moving past them and continuing to participate! For the most part, I find people to be caring and encouraging. I've had an occasional person try to "rain on my parade," but, by the grace of God, I've been able to just ignore them or delete their post without engaging with them. There's no use engaging with that kind of people. They're probably pretty miserable people and just want to try to make others feel miserable too.

glad your trip was uplifting. For me fatsecret is for me to record stuff and get inspiration. Plenty of good information and encouraging people here. if the drama or personalities get to me I close it and come back later.

Not sure what determines which posts I see but this may be the first I’m seeing one of yours. Sorry you’re going through a rough patch and run into a few bad apples here. Some folks just seem to enjoy causing a fuss. Hoping today will be a better day!

Thanks to all of you. I need to ignore all the drama. It was the biggest reason I retired.
