Patience. First week of induction is done. I feel great but frustrated that there's not a significant change on the scale. I'm strictly following the diet, what gives? On a positive note, I feel a lot less bloated, stomach seems just a little flater. I hope this works and I hope I'm doing it right!! I also wish I was using the same scale the first few days of the diet that I'm using now, but oh well. Patience!!

For a first week, I'd say you're doing very, very well. The fact that you're not using the same scale could account for your weight staying the same. Since you're feeling good and your stomach seems flatter, I'd give it another week before changing anything too much. Sometimes processed meats (deli meats, pepperoni, ham, bacon, etc. with their nitrites/nitrates) can cause a problem for some people, so you might want to think about switching them out - or switching some of them - for a fresher, unprocessed type of meat. Be sure you're getting all your water in daily and that you're spacing out your meals. Oh....and be sure to take your measurements! Patience....and good luck!
