Today's workout rocked! P90X - Plyometrics - 878 calories in 59 minutes. I didn't think that possible, and boy am I pooped! I know I feel like I couldn't work much harder, but who knows? I'm just glad that I got up and did it, and don't understand how I can almost talk myself out of working out when I feel so accomplished when I am through. I don't think I consumed enough calories to carry me through this, I got very dizzy a couple of times. Off to have a protein shake in a second.

Looking forward to this week's workouts. I'm in the midst of week 3 and next week is recovery week. Don't take that to mean that the workouts will be any easier, they are just different. I'm also debating whether or not to add the boot camp classes this week or next, and my inclination is to add them next week since I won't be doing as intense of workouts and my body may adjust easier.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Wow what a workout. Your like the P90X queen. I know even though I feel great energy when I excercise I dread it a lot too. Once those endorfins are running through your body you wonder what the heck was going through your head not wanting to do it. Are you going to do boot camp and P90X?

I am going to try to do boot camp and P90X. Try being the operative word. I only have 18 sessions, so it's not forever, right? Could be the kick in the pants my metabolism needs to get to the next level!

The kick in the pants most people's metabolism needs is usually an increase in calories. A couple extra hundred calories a day will often result in weight loss again. I had to increase mine when I added P90X back.

AmethystM, I'm thinking I might have to do the same. I eat about 1600 now, but I'm afraid I might stall. It's hard to eat 1700-2000 when you are trying to eat clean foods!

I know. :) But it's also worth it. ;)

Do you shift your calories as in not eating the same amt everyday so your metabolism doesn't get used to it?

AmethystM - how did you increase your calories? What kinds of stuff did you eat? right now I am not eating any carbs, but know that is where I could easily add a couple 100 here and there. Margeaux - I do not shift calories. I eat basically the same breakfast and lunch everyday, dinner is always different. My caloric intake is always different and the ratios are definitely different.

I did fat loss for idiots before and lost some weight with it. It didn't consider calories intake but eating healthy and you would not eat the same protien or calories in a row. And also from day to day. Then they would throw in an all veggie day one day a week or and all fruit day.

Interesting concept. I find that I like eating the same thing everyday since it's a no brainer for me. I just make it the night before and it's done and I know I am going to like it and more importantly, I know what't in it.
