Looking at yesterday and todays meal log entries, someone might think I am binge eating(3700 and 2900 cals, respectively)! Nope... just listening to my body on Monday, and learning a lesson about eating stuff before checking the calorie content first! So chinese buffet is my weekly indulgence with a guarenteed 1000-1200 calorie lunch, even though I stick to the Sushi bar, veggies and non-fried meats. I usually compensate by skipping my mid morning lunch and hitting the gym for a 600 cal burn later that day. I usually end the day with a calorie deficit. Was on track yesterday, until I got diverted from the gym and found myself a bit hungry around 3:30. Tried our a new protein bar... then another 2 hours later when stomach felt empty while on an errand. By then I had missed supper, and was still feeling the need to eat, so I grabbed the Beef Brisket Sandwich at the local Costco... 710 calories! Who knew? Still, 3 hours later, and stomach feeling empty again (as opposed to feeling hungry), so I ate a clif bar. Woke up looking and feeling "thin" as always, though I have avoided the scale on purpose. Today however, was just a poor choice of lunch venue. Officers club buffet due to time contraint, and the only meat they had to offer was fried popcorn shrimp and pork spare ribs. Piled on a healthy portion of steamed green beans, but was shocked to see the calorie load when I finally logged in the damage.. 1600 cals! I would have been better off staying in the office with a snickers bar. Lesson learned.

Wow man i remember when i was able to exercise it did seem like i was hungry all the time. but since you are Soooo active im sure thats gon be the norm since you are pushing for the 5 K. you are making me very happy that your doing so well.
