Had rather too much protein yesterday which broke my protein target of 60g to 77.03g. Think the culprit for the higher protein was in the homemade pork scratchings that I made, I was amazed how much protein they hold.
Have rediscovered an old family favourite for breakfast, fried tomatoes in butter. I've not had that in years, maybe since the 70s as I got into the habit of microwaving the tomatoes, the low fat way. Having fried tomatoes negates the need to have tomato ketchup on the table! Gosh they are delicious!
All in all, I had a great week last week, and I'm hoping to do the same this week.
Good luck everyone with their eating journey this week.
