nb girl's Journal, 31 July 2014

I'm cross, though I know it's futile; or is it? Anger is a great motivator!

Can't tell you how many so called 'slimming diets' I've been on over the years. Time and time returning the same weight and more.

This time round I'm listening to my body, and I'm spending a lot of my time researching. We've all got very complicated, sophisticated and amazing bodies. So how can one diet, say 'low fat', Atkins, 'low carb' fix us all when we gain weight - it really is not a 'one size fit all' - our bodies are much more intricate than that!

I know, I have evidence, that we've been lied to by doctors, dieticians, who have been ill informed (or should I say in the pockets), by the 'Big Food Industry'!

Not all the 'diets' I've been on have been a waste of time, everyone one of them have been an experience! Something to take with me as I continue with my weight loss journey.

It was over a month ago I started my present way of eating, and I hadn't weighed for a month. So when I started I used the original start weight, not the weight I was when joining FatSecret.

Wishing everyone great success with their system of reducing X
