MrsRatfire's Journal, 22 June 2014

Well, my weight has been stuck for the last ten days. After my June 12 weigh in, I went up almost at once, that has been coming down again or going sideways since. That is just what weight does, we all know that, but it does get tiring to see no movement. It has only been 10 days, but it feels like so much longer! I really thought it had been 2 weeks on stall, than I opened the record.

That is one of the benefits of this- you actually know and can defuse your own mistakes. It just is not enough to feel like we are on a diet, we need the math. I may not go down more this mont, but I expect to lose on more pound before month end. But looking at my month at a glance & seeing my FitBit recordings helps me see, I AM making this work. The math does not work out as neatly as it should, we all know that. But I like having goals with numerical levels to hit. That way, I know if I made it or not. So much easier than a fuzzier plan. It also makes you appreciate to not allow weight to pack on again, moving forward. Takes a long time to get it off.

Cheers everyone! Happy Dieting.

FS is an amazing site. If you work it right, you can always go back, the way you did and see what needs to be adjusted to help with the loss. Happy you did lose.

Love your avatar of Agnes Moorehead! FS was a lifesaver for me. I was under the assumption if I ate only veggies I would lose the weight. I was miserable and would promptly gain it back. Now, with all the info out there and on FS, I know we need protein and healthy fats to lose and keep it off. Since using FS I know I can make it a life change. It is great I can go back to the weeks I lost the most to see what worked then. There are so many tools to use on this site. I use that little pie chart almost fanatically. I have used some of the advice of other members to help me in my journey. That weight is Never coming back!
