Starting Day 2 of my Fat Fast, will try 3 days this week, maybe another 3 days next week after getting in some protein. Yesterday went better than I had expected, no real hunger to speak of and felt great during the day. Have to admit I got a little cranky making dinner, not because I was hungry or craving what I was cooking, just felt a little flustered I guess, but it passed quickly and all was good with the world again! LOL
In one day ketone levels went from small to moderate, hoping to get into the large range by Sun. This is definitely a plan that needs to be tweaked according to our own diet history, and state of metabolic resistance, not the fast but the plan itself. I was taking in way to much protein and not enough healthy fats. Will add things like coconut oil, avocado, and more butter to the things I cook to bring my levels up. I did not do the fast because I was not losing, I did it to get my body into a better(higher level) of ketosis. Doing the fast I am eating 5 times per day and that may be something I will try to stick with after the end of the fast, so much better for the metabolism. Well time to go eat meal #2 for the day. Stay strong warriors! LOL

Do you have a recipe with the peanut butter and cream? I see it in your meal plan but not sure how it's combined. I've been doing a HFLC since Tuesday and it works - I just haven't reduced the calorie intake. I'm not sure the difference as I feel like I'm losing doing just that...

Hey Steph, 1 oz cream cheese, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, 1 packet Splenda, and 1 tbsp cream (I use half & half). That is the Peanut butter cream cheese meal. The other is Peanut butter pudding, 2 tbsp full fat sour cream 1 tsp of sugar free peanut butter(didn't have any so I used my natural one) and Splenda to taste I used one packet. All these recipes are on the Carb Smart web site, on the home page on the right hand side scroll down and open the one titled Atkins fat fast breaking a low carb weight loss stall, all the recipes are there just pick the ones you like, but try to keep your calories to about 1000. Forgot to tell you if you want you can add a dash of cinnamon if you want, tasty either way!
