Wonderful photo. That fireplace and stonework is really impressive.  

He is a very handsome young man, he’s going to do very well in life. Can we talk about your yard please. I’m obsessed with your fireplace surround. You have a beautiful family, can you please tell me a little bit about that fireplace. It’s absolutely gorgeous❤️❤️❤️ 

Ocean girl, Thanks for the comments. We moved into a 90 year old house in 2016, which is ancient in LA. About 80 years ago, the original owner built the grotto into the hillside. It's basically why we bought the place. During covid19, we added the heat lamps, fan and gas fireplace. That lets us see a few friends distantly, outside, through the winter (it does go into 50s at night). The house has been an adventure (i.e. money pit). But, nights in the grotto with friends and family go a long way making it feel worth it.

Have a safe trip and enjoy!👍 Bought a very old house out here too, like an great old barn, love it but unfortunately a huge money pit too. Can’t even set up WiFi very well as today’s phones have 4 wires ours has three no one knows how to deal with it. 🙃

Enjoy every minute with your boy. You may not know how blessed you are, most of us don't until we lose someone. This photo made me think of my son, also a gentle giant who stood over me and his dad. My son was taken over 11 years ago when he was just 28. I miss him every day.

Great family photo. Phenotypes are so interesting. My brother had very light, almost blond, curly hair, probably from my paternal grandmother's side, when he was young, while mine was always very dark and my skin easily gets very dark after a few days in the sun.
