Today was a decent day. I did not eat any rice, potatoes, bread, or pasta the entire day and I always eat at least one of them. I do not know if that has ever happened before in my life. I did an unofficial weigh in to see how my bad food choices yesterday affected me... and I actually lost another pound!!! I am going to the store tonight to stock up on more salad and other healthy goodness. My hubby even noticed today that I lost weight (maybe hes just saying that to pump me up, but who cares? I'll take it ether way!) I am feeling good... but I am not seeing any difference in the mirror yet. Patience Jessica. Patience! By the way.... I NEED DIET BUDDIES PEOPLE!!!!!! I need you! :)

I have the same "addiction" to those white foods. Try roasting some cauliflower and then mashing for a substitute for potatoes. It really is not bad. Cauliflower makes a nice "creamy" soup too. Just cook it in chicken broth and then blend. Add any herbs that you like. It will help fill you up.

Redpine, that is a really good idea. I like cauliflower and since you recommended it I will give it a try!
