Why do weekends have to be so difficult when it comes to eating? Too many choices, more free time and the kitchen is calling my name. Salty cravings during the day and sweet cravings in the evening. I have decided to not even have dessert options in the house because I have no self control. I will keep plugging away and hope things get easier as time goes on.

I sooo know what you are talking about! I don't keep dessert options in the house either....I have no pause button when it comes to dessert! :)

It's tough. I have a hubby that is a fantastic cook. He loves to cook high carb/high fat meals. I was a size 1/3 when we first met--LOL. I went up to a 16 over the years, down to a 6 last year and back up again. I'm in it for the long haul this time. Weight loss--here I come! LOL. Every time I look at a sweet I try to say "lard" in my head--LOL.

That is too funny! My husband is an awesome cook too and he LOVES to cook comfort foods. I had to have a talk with him that 2014 is my year and to please stop feeding me all this good fatty food! lol He understands and he wants me to do what makes me happy, which is lose this freakin weight! My weight is always so up and down, I truly am sick of it! This year is going to be different though I feel it! So let's do this!

Lol I feel you on the sweets!!! I'm on my 3rd day going cold turkey from the sweets. Try to plan in healthy alternatives!! Special K cereal bar, or some yogurt! :) Or 'I can have 1 cookie' but have to drink it with a large mug of hot tea. That way you get the sweet taste but feel full afterwards. It will get easier!! You got this!!

LOL I don't know the definition of just one cookie,,,you are sooo much stronger than I hahaha Good luck to you on this journey!! :)

Took me 2 months to get to the one cookie stage!!!!! lol. Right now I'm in the cold turkey stage...and I have a container of homemade lemon curd in the fridge I made for company at new years and I can't have it!! I think i'll give it to my neighbor since I know she loves it. :) Goes so well with shortbread cookies or fruit/berry muffins! XD
