EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK! I NEED ADVICE FROM MY FS BUDDIES!!!
This morning, I did a dancing 'ten minutes solution' thingy, some stretching and strength training, and then power walked/jogged/ran on the treadmill for 45 minutes. after that, I thought to myself, "I feel much better now that I am back to eating healthy things. I have come to realize junk food makes me feel like crap :[" And why would I want to do that to my body? It tastes good, but, it doesnt make me feel good and it is NOT good for working out. I have also come to realize that I shouldnt eat junk food in my house!!!! Its just better when i enjoy it in moderation outside my house. If it is at my house, i tend to go overboard. Like with the granola mix over thanksgiving >.>
So, taking all of that into consideration, Heres what i need advice on, all you lovely people :] I still havent decided what I am going to do for my birthday... and the subject is all about FOOD!
I could have a birthday-cake remix. I could have 'take the cake' ice cream, or i could have chinese food [which includes chowmeain noodles and teriyaki chicken.] That sounds really good, and I have been wanting some for a long time. On one hand, i want to allow myself to have my chinese food because I know I am not going to be having it after surgery or after the 1st of the year. So i might as well have it now while i am able to work it off!!!! on the other hand, i just want to skip it all together... i dont 'need' it.
I could just have a greek salad for dinner And something healthy for dessert in substitute- like pineapple, vanilla yogurt and fresh coconut. Or maybe a smoothie from Juice it Up. Ive wanted that for awhile too.
I've eaten lots of shitty food these past two weeks- which has included ribs, chicken nachos, enchiladas, a burrito, cupcakes, cookies, birthday cake and ice cream, speghetti with tomato sauce and french bread, eggnog, See's candy bars, chocolate truffles, chocolate covered nuts, granola mix, mashed potatoes, pancakes... plus, thanksgiving food, like stuffing, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, apple, cherry and pumpkin pie! Yes, i have ate all of that, and probably some other things I forgot and maintained... actually, I lost about 3 pounds these last two weeks, which is slower than my normal performance, but still a loss. Thats pretty much because I have been maintaining an exercising schedule.
So half of me has no worries... I can eat my noodles and chicken and bday-cake remix and work it off before the 10th of december without stressing over gaining. Then i eat nice and healthy before/after surgery and on and on, continuing into the new year.
The other half of me says, "Lose 3 more pounds in this next ten days. Get down to 160 before surgery. You dont NEED that JUNK!"
What should I DOOOOOOO? :[
