Need to do some serious soul searching to find out the stumbling block that's standing in my way of reaching my goal weight... I realize the last 10 lbs are ALWAYS the hardest, but...

Once I get within 10 lbs of goal, I begin to eat ravenously, and not exercise... [although my back has been the primary reason for not exercising these past couple of weeks...]

I don't know what 'emotional trigger' is responsible for this... I guess once I get that close, I figure I am 'entitled' to have _____ to eat...

This week I am re-committing my self to reaching my goal! [Stricter Diet, more Exercise!]

[If you're NOT going TOWARD the goal, you're going AWAY from it!]

There is no in-between!

I MUST ASK MYSELF BEFORE eating ANYTHING: Is this food getting me CLOSER TO or FURTHER FROM my goal?

And readjust accordingly... [making certain that I REALLY want to ACHIEVE MY GOAL!]

In the big picture of everything, eating up that ______ , can carry me TOWARD my goal or AWAY from it...

I MUST MAKE CERTAIN that I ALWAYS CHOOSE 'GOING TOWARD MY GOAL!!'

Regardless of the momentary fleeting gratification I get from indulging...

That being said, I am taking my husband to the Dairy Queen today for Father's day to get a banana split... and I AM going to have a SMALL hot fudge sundae [300 calories] because denying myself a special treat will only lead to binging on many other 'bad food choices' to try to 'quench my thirst' for the 'forbidden fruit'...

So I am going to make an educated choice, and plan for it in my RDI for the day.

This will prove to myself that I CAN INDULGE and CONTROL it... [not pigging out or binging...] Not Thinking to myself 'Well, I've already blown it, so I'm going to eat a Snicker's bar, too!] I WILL NOT get caught in that trap THIS TIME!

Then for the rest of the day I will eat 'on program'... healthy foods [fish and veggies for dinner]...

I WILL PREVAIL! Only I have the power to CONTROL WHAT PASSES BETWEEN THESE LIPS!!

This week I will EAT CONSCIOUSLY, WISELY, AND TO MOVE TOWARD MY GOAL!

I am also going to set 4 mini-goals of 3 lbs a piece until I can whittle away at these last few pounds!

So next week I WILL lose, and take a 'bite' out of a 3 lb mini-goal.

As I reach each and every 'mini-goal, I will buy myself a new nail polish, lipstick, or other non-food reward...

Next Sunday, at weigh-in, I want to go toward the 147 lb mark. [Maybe even surpassing that! Who knows?]

I CAN DO THIS! NOTHING IS GOING TO STAND IN MY WAY!! [LEAST OF ALL MYSELF!!!]
