lasagne79's Journal, 17 March 2020

As from today, I will be avoiding all crowded areas. I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and not willing to put my baby at risk.
My 3 year old has a new and persistent dry cough and my 18 month old is poorly with the worlds worse cold and cough, so I've taken it upon myself to isolate them too.
My teenagers are well, but Boris said yesterday, if anyone in the family unit has a new cough or temperature, to isolate everyone 🙄
My partner works hard for Aldi and without sounding dramatic, he's desperately needed there, so isn't keen on staying away, as so many colleagues are self isolating themselves or their children.

Worrying time.

The only positive is, I can't just jump in the car and nip to the supermarket for chocolate and cake 😂😂😂

Stay safe guys ❤

Scary times yeah, my parents are both diabetic aged 64 and 83 with underlying health conditions and I've developed an autoimmune disease back in December and have caught the flu twice recently which I thankfully recovered from, I now also have a cough but it's like my throat is itching non stop as I braved the high street twice with the family during panic buying 🙈 Maybe it's just nerves.
