Day 46 of Insanity. Whew. This one was Max Interval Sports Training. "Fun" in a way... okay, not really. But different moves from different types of sports like basketball, football, gymnastics. Tough one, as usual. If I had to guess, I'd say I barely did about 2/3 of it, with all the breaks I had to take. I definitely get my heart rate up with this program. I'll be looking forward to it being over and going back to some other dvds for a awhile. Then, maybe... P90X. I read about the differences and it seems the equipment is different as you do pull-ups and chin ups and whatnot. But that the intensity level might actually be higher with Insanity than the P90X. But the workouts are longer for the other, too. I also read that you shouldn't do Insanity if you're not in shape (explains A LOT) or if you have any knee issues as it's so high impact. I knew it would be since it's plyometrics, but that's what burns the calories and builds muscles, too. But wow...not for the faint of heart.

Anyway, I should have left the scale in the garage...Oops...I mean, ctlss's gremlin should have left it alone. There it was, sitting on my bathroom floor as usual. Well, of course I jumped on it since I KNEW it'd be lower today. I had a 1200 calorie deficit yesterday. And drank lots of water (up twice to pee in the night!) so I jumped on...anxious to see 131 something... a point 8... maybe even a point 6... NO. Somehow I weighed a pound MORE after burning 1200 calories MORE than I consumed. I KNOW... it's water weight fluctuations. I know this intellectually...but I miss those several days when I could actually rely on the math. So... banned for a couple of days again.

I so LOVE your comment on Max interval sports training...."It was FUN....okay not really".....LMAO. Yea yea thats it....CONVINCE yourself its fun.....it WILL be fun. :-) OKAY MY theory on the damn scale? DONT ask how or why I think this? I seriously do not think what we did yesterday, effects today, It really seems a couple days....and then the effects happen. (just like you said, the water fluctuations) so....given another day or so.....I KNOW it is going to be DOWN. AND tisk tisk tisk.....when I GROUND you from a scale....I MEAN it young lady!!! Now back in the garage!!! IF your a good girl.....maybe Thursday I will let you play with your scale.....lmao!!!! DO YA think I am going NEAR a scale? heck no.....my little ICK day....I know....even tho i was still higher in calories burned....all that grease is gonna hold some "crap" inside me....( ooops that sounded too graphic) ha ha. HEY when your ready to move on with your work outs? I heard Richard Simmons Dancing to the Oldies is good.....he he he. Kidding.....he cracks me up. ITS ALL GOOD..... your doing great. AND you said Insanity wasn't for the weak of heart.....DUH YOUR NOT! Girl NO matter what the % of fat says.....YOU are a Athlete to ME!!!!

Awww... Klannoye...what would I do WITHOUT you??!! Oh, for the record, I TOTALLY agree with you on the scale not reflecting the day before, but for me...more like three days before. I even posted that once on Info's journal, if anyone else had experienced that. But still, I've been "good" for five days, only that one mess up day six days ago, and don't know really how bad it was. But yeah, the scale can be stupid, that's for sure. Oh, and another thing (for the record...) I USED to use the Richard Simmons Dancing to the Oldies way back when... like 14 or 15 years ago! ha ha ha... He DOES crack me up, and it was an effective workout when you think about it... And I usually didn't hate the workouts then, either. But I don't know... Richard Simmons? Or Shaun T... hmmm.... that's not even comparing apples to oranges... more like apples to screwdrivers. And YES... YOU were right...once AGAIN...when am I gonna learn to LISTEN to you?!

I think you're an athlete too! However, if you start doing Richard Simmons I may re-think things. Thanks for the positive thoughts on the kiddos. Sometimes I think does this stuff just happen to me?! Makes me feel normal lol. I went to the gym today and instead of pounding it out on the treadmill I went a different route and did the bike. I was hauling...just what I needed. Feels good to burn the calories and stress away at the same time. There were a couple good lookers at the gym in front of me and my buddy while we were on the inner and outer thigh machines. I think we tried to kill ourselves doing extra reps for impressiveness. Yes, we're retarded. I'll admit it. But hey, extra motivation right? And RWL-listen to Klannoye. STAY OFF THAT DAMN SCALE!

RWL, I cannot elieve that you are doing that intense workout!! I am doing good getting the Slim in 6 and Pilates done!! lol As for the gremlin, I am on the verge of vanquishing mine. I can feel it. I think that I found out what happened, and I will post the details as soon as I am more convinced. I will weigh either tomorrow or Friday, and if the results are what I think they will be, the the SCALE GREMLIN is outta here. And for the record, how exactly did the scale get from the garage to the bathroom????? Did it grow legs and walk? Klannoye told you to step away from the scale, and by golly she meant it young lady!!! lol Keep up the great work, you are an inspiration to so many, me included!!

Youngbug... You're welcome...and it really DOES just fly by. But it sounds like you take the time to enjoy them and to really experience life with them, so that's wonderful! And way to go on the bike. Sounds like you got out some frustrations while doing your body a world of good. I haven't checked yet...are you recording your food? :D And hey, if I was working out in a gym in front of some hotties, I'd probably make it thru the entire workout 100%. Of course, I'd be leaving the gym on a stretcher! lol... I notice that even if one of my kids pops in, suddenly my form is amazing and my stamina is, too! Like I'm showing off to my kids! lol... I know... I KNOW...Klannoye is RIGHT....as USUAL! grrr.... and a newcomer, at that! :D

Info...YOU LIVE!!! :D Uh... I'm pretty sure I've already confessed to you that patience has never been one of my virtues! But...*sigh*... I'll TRY. Nice hearing from you!

Ctlss... I read your journal yesterday, holding my breath, KNOWING you have the KEY... and yet you're still holding back on us! AND sharing your damn gremlin, too! I'm telling you, HE opened cut the tape, ripped the paper off, opened the box and brought my scale upstairs to my bathroom... It wasn't there when I went to bed the other night (as per Klannoye's orders) and wa-laaa... THERE it was in the morning. Looking all bright and shiny and... unobtrusive - certainly not looking sinister in any way.... UNTIL I stepped on it and it showed it's true colors. So ctlss... THANKS for SHARING!!! :D Awww... thanks for saying that, too. An inspiration....ME! :D (who would have guessed!?) IF I inspire you, that's awesome! I've been meaning to ask you, what Pilates dvd are you doing? I keep thinking I'll order the one from the Crunch series..I like the two from them I have. Pilates isn't easy, either! I'm proud of YOU for all the consistent exercise YOU'RE doing!

Sorry, I was editing my post to add "even more," so I tempoarily deleted it and, at that moment you replied. Here it is again, edited: One can only conclude that you must be even more patient. ;-)

RWL. I am doing the 10 minute solutions series. There are 5 different workouts. Right now I am doing Total Body workout and Upper Body workout with resistance bands. That whole knees together, legs off the ground doing circles, while squeezing that darned band between the thighs thing.....it is killing me! lol But it sure feels good when I'm done!

LOL! Yes, I'm quite alive. Anyway, all you can do is try... or eat even less?  If you get too impatient that is. I hope you are well...

Hi RWL, I posted this on Ctlss's journal too but just in case you don't see it I know I have the following Slim in 6 dvd's:Start it Up, Ramp it Up, Burn it Up, Tear it Up, Keep it Up, Tone it Up, Slim in 6pack, and Slim and Limber.

Hi Youngbug.. Thanks! Hmmm...did they ALL come with your Slim in 6 order? All I got was Start, Ramp, Burn it up, with Slim in 6 pack and Slim and Limber in that set (and the bands, charts, booklets, etc). I bought separately Keep it Up and Shape it Up (not Tone it Up)....So did all of yours come in one set? Oh, I also bought Thin Thighs Guaranteed - another of the Beach Body with Debra S... and USED it was $20. But I thought, whatever, I've NEVER had thin thighs, so if it works, it's worth the money! It's a really short leg workout - maybe 10 min. and probably very effective, but if you have the Slim in Six, I think all of the moves are the same ones that are on the Ramp it Up dvd! Oh well. And I guess it's okay, if I only have a few minutes, I can pop that one in sometime.

Yes I bought them all in one set. I don't remember exactly how much I paid as it was about 5 years ago. :( I have the bands and book but not the thin thigh workout. My favorite of all of them is the Slim in 6pack as it's only an 11 minute ab workout and I can pretty much do anything for 11 minutes ya know? LOL.

RWL, mine is a 2 dvd set with Start it Up, Ramp it Up, Burn it Up, Slim in 6pack, and Slim and Limber, and Thin Thighs. These are all on the 2 dvds. Sorry that I didn't see your comment on my earlier journal entry. Sometimes I forget to go back and check them. I try to keep up with them, but....what can I say, sometimes my brain farts! LOL
