Day 44 of Insanity. Today was relatively "easy", being a Max Recovery day. Tomorrow's going to be tough, though... Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs. Oh boy...

Didn't record a journal entry yesterday. Stayed pretty busy most of the day. I'm telling you - when I go shopping, I burn a lot more calories in a day. Yesterday I burned nearly 3100 calories. True, I had a good workout in there, but it's the difference between sitting on my butt most of the day and doing ANYTHING else.

Scored an awesome pair of jeans at a thrift store. Lightly worn, fit perfectly, if long (heels, I guess) and expensive for a thrift store. The tag was $25, but that color tag was 50% off yesterday, so I tried them on. Glad I did. Looked them up online and I got a pair of $70 jeans for $12.50 :) THAT makes me happy! I'm not finished losing weight, so they probably won't end up fitting in another month or two anyway. Picked up a couple of cute tops, too. The jeans, a size 27, which online supposedly means either a 4 or a 6 (I'm guessing a 6) and the tops are a small. :) Happy, happy. I just hate wearing baggy jeans - always have, no matter what size I am. I also did some grocery shopping, so all the schlepping groceries to and from and putting stuff away helps burn calories. Today? Been sitting here more than not, AND a recovery type of workout, so probably won't be a high burner...well, maybe 2500. That's good, that's what I aim to burn. I really need to think about getting up earlier and taking a walk first thing. That's be good! Take my pill, can't eat for an hour, I ALWAYS eat before I work out, so I should walk that hour, then eat, then catch up here, then work out. Sounds nice...doubt if I'll start that in the morning, though :) Well, after a high calorie burn day and a low intake day, I DID manage to drop the rest of the weight from the damn pita chips/wine/weekend and even down about half a pound. Not much for a week, but I'll take it. Sure am going to try to lose the 1.8 per week I SHOULD be able to count on over the next couple of weeks. I really, really want to be in the 120's. I KNOW it's just a NUMBER. But I really like the way that sounds! :D

Sweet job on the jeans.. Awesome size and a bargain? Can't beat that! You'll get to 120's I'm sure! And hey if they're a little long that could be an excuse to buy a cute pair of heels right?! That's what I'd go with! :)

Thanks! And yup, a cute pair of heels would be awesome....NOW...if they'd make CUTE shoes in super wide Freddy Flintstone feet! :D Nah... I have a pair that I think would look cute with them... and my new top...now I just need somewhere to GO! :D

OH you didn't hear??? Betty and Wilma went into the shoe business.....Ah they make some lovely heels for those FREDDY Flintstone feet.....lmao!!! Size 4-6.......UGH yea WE'LL share clothes someday.....IN MY DREAMS sista!!! A walk in the morning....ummm that sounds lovely.....Umm let me know how that goes... AND HOW did you KNOW the weight went down??? YOU didn't bring the scale IN from the garage did YOU??? ha ha . Im very proud of you!!! ITS DOWN ITS DOWN.....yea!!!!!

It was ctlss' gremlin! I SWEAR it was. Figured it was a sign from above...scale sitting there in it's usual spot...you know? I mean, wouldn't YOU take that as a sign? :)

Ok RWL. Sat my stuff out and logged tomorrow's food. :) Exercise is logged too as best as I could.

Nice, youngbug.... Hope you didn't feel I was picking on you... But then I see klannoye joined in on the beat down! :D It really makes it easier to stay accountable and to see if you need to change something. And for me, it also helped change the WAY I ate - too much at certain times of the day and a lot of pre-packaged foods. I hope it works for you.
