Today's a "run day"... I so look forward to it. I'm not sure that I have ever looked forward to a workout the way that I do with this program. For me, it's not so much a workout as it is a challenge that I am going to win! Once I complete each workout, I feel amazing... My heart is pounding, my respiration is up, my legs feel like noodles and I feel great! My only bummer is that the hubby wants to go with so I have to wait until he gets home from work. Running in the evening is so different from the morning runs. Living in the desert, its still around 100 degrees when we take off at 6pm.
Fall semester is back in session on Monday and I am uber excited. Summer always seems so long and there's only so much of doing nothing I can take. My goals for this fall are big and I believe that completing this program will give me a sense of accomplishment and the momentum that I need to tackle them.
Running does seem to have given me an insatiable hunger that I really need to get a grip on or rather than losing weight, I'm going to bulk up (in a girly sense, of course). Today I'm headed to the market to buy as much fruit as I can stand so that if I feel hungry when it's not time, I can just binge on that.
