I feel ya. I do the SAME thing!!
I carry a toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse and try to brush my teeth whenever I get the craving for something when it's not time to eat. That usually kills it lol.
I also found that Extra brand gum helps. I keep a pack in my back pocket AT ALL TIMES. lol They have awesome flavors (like apple pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Mint Chocolate Chip, Orange Creme Pop). That always helps when I'm craving something sweet. And chewing gum helps me keep my mind off eating anything.
