Veggies. I wasn't a gigantic veggie eater before I started. It was just that third slot on the meat and potato plate. But since I started dieting almost a year ago now, veggies are really my jam. I think because I know a big plate of them will fill me up, whereas 10 potato chips (for the same Kcals) will not.

Hmm yes. Veggies and some fruits I did not like before. I use to hate avocados but now I love them. Same thing for some veggies and other stuff like raisins. I do not crave the bad food I use to frequently eat nearly as much.

Yes for sure!! I could eat eggs, scallops, salmon shrimp chicken wings steak all week long I lost my sweet tooth. I have always liked all of the above but definitely different.

I disliked peanut butter, nutty buddy bars, everything with peanut flavor, now I love them, I didn't like too much cake either.

I eat a lot differently, but have trained myself to not want chips, breads, popcorn. I still crave sweets but I have good recipes for low carb sugar-free goodies.

Absolutely! Sweet foods seem too sweet. Fruit is like candy. No cravings for junk, fast, or fried foods. Trying new foods and recipes all the time. My cheats are so different... probably what I used to think as healthy!! It's wonderful. I was a carb junkie but no more. I still eat carbs, but they do not rule me.

I agree with AnnieS. I love pastries. Sweet foods are way too sweet. But choc. Chip cookies especially seem way too sweet. Some things are harder to give up so I eat them occasionally.

Hmmm...fruit. I always was a veggie eater but hated the "wetness" of fruit. I used to be one of those weirdos who didn't like my food touching. I don't drink a lot of pure water (I hydrate through herbal tea)...when I get thirsty, I notice I crave fruit, like oranges, instead of water.

Yes! Vegetables! I steam my veggies (there are only a few I like raw) and I find myself stealing "samples" of baby carrots, Brussels sprouts, etc before they make it into the fridge. Veggies sure did take the place of ice cream, cookies and chips!!
