I have to be wicked careful this week. I was very bad over the weekend! I ate dirt pudding and a pin wheel cookie at a cookout - as well as a lot of refried beans the next day. I'm proud of myself that I was able to restrain from the taco salad shell though. It was all too tempting!

Now that I am back to work this week, I am trying to keep busy and chew gum and drink fluids - more than eat solid food.

Saw my gastrointestinal doctor yesterday and he said if I lose the 15-20 lbs to get to my correct weight - my acid reflux will go away! I am very excited about this and hope he is right. That alone is my new incentive. No more pharmaceuticals for acid reflux that weaken my bones!!! I hate protonix and I hate taking gastric mobility drugs for all the acid. I don't feel I eat foods that merit my suffering, so they attribute it to my weight!

I have 7 lbs to lose to be in the high end of my correct weight spectrum and 20 to be right in the middle and healthy.

It's such a struggle to eat as little as I am eating but I am determined - for my health's sake!
