Weight stayed the same. I seem to have gotten back to daily weighings again...not good normally, but with upcoming appointment, I want to make sure I stay on track.
I'm bored today! Looking for motivation to go work out. As much as I say I need to shake things up and do different DVDs, there seems to be two combos that burn close to 700 calories. The rest are closer to 500. So I'll probably do the cardio max 1 & 2 and then the burn fat, boost metabolism one. Yesterday I burned about 2375 total, which isn't bad, but I've set a new goal on my Bodybugg to aim for 2500 calories a day. That way I should easily drop 2 lbs a week. Just not easy to do unless I leave the house and do something, or CLEAN the house! :) Lord knows...it could use it! I think I'm overwhelmed again with junk. I need to weed out clothes again and be brutal. Closet is overfull, chest of drawers is stuffed and can't cram anything else in there, and I have clothes not hung up or folded and no where to put them. Just seeing that mess seems to make me want to avoid cleaning anything (no where to put stuff - why bother?) and what bugs me more is my semi-belief that your external environment reflects your inner self (turmoil). So...put it off for yet another day and think I'll swiffer the floors, eat some breakfast and then work out. Maybe cool off in the pool, watch a few more episodes of The Sopranos, drink tons of water today, stick to my eating plan....in general, be a good girl (if being in total avoidance mode doesn't discount those efforts!) :D

...later
Haven't had a lot of water yet today, but will now. Ended up going through a drawer of tank tops. Yes, I have an entire drawer of tank tops since it's always so friggin' hot here. Or so it seems. That, and I'm a bit of a pack rat. But I did through out some that are too big : ) I also hung up most of the clothes laying around, then found another stack of things with no home to go to as of yet. I will really go through my closet and toss out clothes in another ten pounds or so. I think those ten pounds will make a difference in clothing for sure.

I played in the pool with my hubby for over an hour. That was nice. Don't know what kind of calorie burn to count it as. Wasn't swimming, but we did play basketball. So my bodybugg was off for over an hour. Then I finally made myself do a short workout - thank God for challenges! I've committed to the Get off your Ass challenge, and since it only calls for 20 min. of exercise per day, how could I screw that challenge up so quickly? So I did the cardio max 1 & 2 and warm up, so that was 35 min. Weird thing was that at the end of it, my bodybugg said I was only burning 2.4 calories a min. - 144 calories per hour. Now I know that's not correct. I was sweating and out of breath, too. Uh-uh...something's up there. Anyway, glad I did at least that - sure wasn't feeling it today.

Sometimes the best I can do is just stick to my food plan - other days I can meet other goals. It depends on the day for me. Today my number one goal is staying on the Atkins WOL.

My weakness is souvenir t-shirts, and because I know I'll never go back there, I hate wearing them, plus they're all from the baggy-80s, and uni-sex, not the more fitted styles you can get these days. But no way am I throwing out all those wonderful memories. __________________ This "Get off your Ass challenge" is great: how hard is it to exercise for just 20 minutes a day? Maybe by the end of it, I'll be up to your impressive regime (oh look, another flock of pigs just flew by!)

LMAO! Ruby, you never cease to make me crack up! Oh hey, I forgot to update my challenge last night and today I tried and can't. Is there a way to go back a day? I decided if not, I'll update each day now for the previous one. I hope it's not considered cheating, but by the time I get ready to go to bed, I'm usually not on the internet, and it seems to take me that long to drink all the water :) I, too, have a lot of those souvenir t-shirts! But I'm just a pack rat when it comes to clothes. How many white tanks and black tanks do I really need? 15 of each? 40 pairs of jeans? Really? Must harken back to childhood...

I have clothes in every size! And I have all kinds of souvenir t-shirts, and concert t-shirts! I simply will not part with them. Pack them away in a box and some day, who knows, take them out and look at them again! lol Did no exercise yesterday at all. Usually try to take Sunday off and just rest and recuperate. Back at it today!
