You have to increase your calories slowly, and focus on your proteins.

It depends - are you insulin resistant / type 2 diabetic? You mentioned macros - are you eating keto?

I would only focus on calories n only
add 100 calories (initially u gain water in a week body adapts),

when body does not adapt n u gain weight u choose to stay with added weight or decrease by 100 calories

I had been doing less than 700 during the week . I always have more on weekend. When I adjusted my settings it says 1200 but I'm sure I would really gain on that. I'm not doing keto just counting calories . So I should focus on calories and not really worry about macros?

When u are done adding calories, add the focus to protein .7-1g per goal weigh. If you are 120 lbs u should aim for 84-120 grams a day, divide other macros as you please

@rosio19 I'm trying to maintain around 100 lbs. I added more calories last week and loss weight but I'm sure I've gained it back this week. lol

Pay attention to ur body and count calories religiously so if something goes “wrong” u know exactly what

CourtneyThompson, you have to find your own maintenance plan, what works for me may not work for you. Same with the calories. When you reach your goal weight con have to start by adding 100 calories each day, second week another 100 calories and so on. When you stop losing weight, those are going to be your calories for maintenance.

LT, if no sugar issues, then don't bother tracking macros. CICO should work - but I find the calories recommended on FS to be too high.

me too gz9gjg . I know I would gain on 1400 and probably 1200. I'm going to try to stay around 1000 and cut calories or add if I need to adjust

@Keilin_4. Thanks! I was wondering if there was a site like sparkpeople - sparkpeople allows you to input your current weight, your goal weight, and activity (like FS) but then they give you a set meal plan based on that for everyday. I haven't played in sparkpeople enough to know if they do the same once you reach your goal weight...but from a glance, it appears not. I was wondering if there was an app like that or if anyone who uses sparkpeople and know if they provide that feature. Medifast gives sample meal plans based on the maintenance calories you determine you need per day (https://www.medifastmedia.com/shared/docs/maintenance_meal_plans.pdf) but it would be nice if they offered it day by day like sparkpeople does for weightloss.

LT - 1000 is likely too low, be careful as that may slow / damage your metabolism. Suggest starting with 1200 and see how you do. If your weight isn't stable at 1200, then start looking at your macros and adjusting those.
