Hello everyone. I am apologizing for this negative post. But nothing positive about me right now. Around 5 weeks ago I had injections in my back. And my back hurts a lot. I can't do simple things like house work or even go to the gym. I am feeling depressed, I have got high blood pressure every single day. I know I gain a lot of weight and afraid to step on my scales. Early or later I will need to check my weight and to take responsibility for that. Anyway. At the moment I have got a plan to get on track for loosing weight, not gaining it. From beginning of October I am starting a group for loosing weight. Hopefully it will help me. Also I am going to see a doctor about my comfort eating. Don't take me wrong, my comfort or emotional eating not from boredom; it is because I am in chronic pain and eating is only way to feel better. It is not a good way to eat, I recognize it. it is why I am getting help. Apart of starting my group in the beginning of October, I want to start looking for calories, put everything in my food diary. Basically it is my plan to get back on track. We all need to verbally express how we are feeling from time to time it is better out than in. All i can say is don't be so hard on yourself take one day at a time and celebrate each and every step you take weather large or small we are only human after all.

Hey Yelena, living with pain is draining and I am not surprised it makes you feel gown.hopefully you will get support here, it is also the reason for me to having joined.

I feel your pain I’ve suffered with arthritis for years and know what it’s like when your in pain and can’t do the most simple of tasks or exercise I haven’t weighed for a month as I know I’ve put on weight but FS friends help you get through I’ve also been poorly since April .I am gonna try start again Monday so good luck to you 👍

janetlesley,yes I have got arthritis in my knee and also my back. It was my plan too to start from beginning on Monday. Let's do it together!

Thank you for sharing your feelings Yelena. Please try to be more compassionate with yourself. This is also important if you want to lose weight. Many times it is helpful to mother yourself and that means treating yourself as a mother. With compassion and love. And also with positive thinking and praise towards your inner you.
