So I didn’t record much this weekend but I’m pretty sure I did ok. I was out of town and and Saturday night I indulged in a little much baguette and a glass of wine with dinner - a delicious 6oz steak with some steamed veg, and a bowl full of heirloom tomatoes. (That’s just a fancy way of saying tomatoes that are different colours)
Sunday’s morning’s breakfast though - that was my cheat. It was at a place called Cora’s. While I could have had a nice egg white omelette- I chose something that isn’t on the menu anymore called an ‘uncle fred’.
An uncle Fred is a savoury cheddar waffle with three egg Benny on top complete with tomatoe, bacon pieces and hollandaise. I only ate 3/4 of it and took the rest to go. I ate the remainder for lunch, stopped at Costco on the 7 hour drive home, and had a hotdog after picking up a bunch of lean ground turkey to bring back with me. Have a great week everyone and I’m back on track this week again for workouts and healthy food.
