Today is day 1 of detox for me. now where ave i heard that before :)
I was away for a few days, very nice to get away, though visiting 2 little kids kicked my big butt. but felt good to run and play, all you parents are very lucky.
Well now that i have my wii fit, i am getting on that everyday and finding out how very bad my posture really is, but down 2 more lbs so ill keep it up.
Hope everyone had a great holiday and i (and Hubby) are all ready to get back on the program.

Ok i finally was able to see my progress. so not too bad, i have lost some weight and i did have some cake, but i wont have that temptation for another year. so it looks to be 18 lbs which i have to say is a start.
i have not been too good with following everything closely for the last 5 days, i didnt go overboard, but i know i was not strict. So i do have to go away this weekend and go to a party, and i know i will not be able to follow strictly, so i will try to minimize the "off plan" foods.
But as of today i am feeling better than i have in a long time, i didnt fear my birthday and i accepted the year with grace. So now all i have to do is get back on tract with detox, but first i will enjoy a few more days of loosly following the plan and taking a vacation.

Making through another Detox week. am trying to get a weigh in in, will be visiting dr on monday so i can FINALLY see if i am doing good on this plan. I know i have increased energy and am staying up doing more not just a couch potato. been better on the exercise, although not more than walks and gardening, but its a step.
I think im getting blue because as i tell my husband, i like numbers, and seeing i cant tell by weighing myself i feel as though i am at a stand still. and as he says my starting weight was done before i quit smiking so maybe i gained weight from the time i visited the dr to when i started the plan. BOY is he good at not making me feel bad huh!
So my goal is to be below 300 sad to say that, but like being honest here, cause i have my wii fit preordered and i cant exceed the weight limit. see mini goals have a place too!
Keep up the motivation that this site provides!

Well the weekend did find me cheating a bit, but i have to say i cheated on things like roast beef, coffee, mashed potatoes and... ok ok there was a small piece of cake involved, but i really didn't go overboard. And today i am right back on detox, and will stay on it till the 20th at minimum.
I know i need to step it up a bit on the exercise. reading what others are doing makes me motivated to get more active. So that will be my goal this week. maybe that extra effort plus dextox after cheating will give me the push i need to see some headway on the scales.
