I was married at 18 years old and today would have been my 32nd wedding anniversary, I say “would have” because a few years ago, my husband went to our family cabin and took his own life, he left behind 2 amazing children and 4 granddaughters that he never met. He is missed terribly and left a hole in so many hearts... I don’t tell this story for sympathy, I tell it for awareness! Life is hard, sometimes unbearably hard, it’s easy to get lost in our own troubles, our own darkness.. if your struggling I beg you to reach out, talk to someone and find your happy. Suicide hurts, it’s hurts those left behind, always questioning, always feeling guilt over the shoulder haves, could haves and didn’ts. We are not “better off” without you! If you know someone is struggling, wrap your arms around them and hug a little longer! ❤️
