HAHAHAHA! I just sat down to my desk this morning and what do I see? My chocolate square that I forgot to eat yesterday. This is a FIRST in many years. ME? FORGET TO EAT CHOCOLATE?? <insert hysterical laughter here>
This is proof that the cravings really do go away with LCHF. I don't have the intense cravings that I had last month when my 'monthly frenemy' was visiting and my cookie daemon was loose.
Progress in even the smallest of things ROCKS!!

losing 9.8 lb a week

Ok .. so I'm not really starting over but it took me a week to find this diet in here LoL. So I will call week 1 cookie detox and starting week 2 it's about totally embracing the LCHF lifestyle. I did my grocery shopping today and should be set for the week. Now that I know what to eat and have more good choices on hand .. it should go much better this week; and, I will continue to improve and make adjustments along the way.
Now to make time to get back on the treadmill daily. I've been doing yard work this past week but since most of that is done I will have to get my exercise like a pet rat.

This is the best article that I've found about the different low-carb diets that you can do. Turns out there IS a slight difference between LCHF and KETOGENIC. That's what I was trying to find out the other day and this article was very helpful along those lines. Now I have a better understanding and can plan my meals better. Posting the link here so I can find it easier. (I hope links are allowed).
