4:20pm: Definitely ate lighter today and plan to have a light dinner. I got in a lot of exercise in today so that and the light eating will hopefully help me achieve results this week.
Successes
1) Put in 70 minutes of exercise today!
2) Ate lighter meals.
3) Learned from my overeating episode from last night. Food heavy in whipped cream gives my stomach an unpleasant feeling.
Gratitude
1) Having the ability to move.
2) Having increased flexibility and energy.
3) Maintaining my positive intent for working out. I'm motivated by the end result.

8:30am: Yesterday, I made a really nice dinner for my husband's birthday. His sister brought a wonderful strawberry mint cake and I couldn't resist having a huge serving. I really felt the whipped cream after eating it so I don't think I'll be doing that again soon. I'll make up for it by eating a lighter today.

3:08pm: In terms of being in tune with my body, I had a good day. I easily got up to work out and I think my body needed the exercise. I didn't work out during the weekend nor Monday (I was sick) so after all that rest, it was craving for the cardiovascular exercise and strength training.
When I got to work, I didn't feel hungry as I usually do when I get int o the office. I didn't eat until almost 10am when my stomach was yelling at me. I kept it simple by eating a small banana with peanut butter and this held me over for 4 hours. I found this odd but didn't question it. In all, I feel great and plan to stick with this habit.
Successes
1) Listened carefully to my body for hunger signals.
2) Got up early easily and ready to move!
3) Dealt with financial stress in a calm matter.
Gratitude:
1) For having the tools to understand mind-body connections.
2) For finding it easy to apply those tools today.
3) For having the space to make my connections.

Caught myself eating too many sweets this week and as of Thursday, I'm back on track. Logging in the food makes a difference and the more time I put into this, the less time I have to put food in my mouth!

11:21am: To re-focus my weight loss efforts, I am giving in to entering my food intake. I thought this might add to my obsession but honestly, I haven't done it to say that it will actually do that. I have discovered that after my 11 pound weight loss, I'm slowly getting back into old eating habits of not listening to my body and slipping back into sugar addiction. So while continuing my exercise program and adding a little more cardio in the morning and recording my food intake, I hope to learn more about my habits and how I can adjust them to achieve my goals.
