Well, did Plyometrics Friday nite and it went great. My back is much better. Still losing slowly but I'm so grateful to have come so far. On Friday, 3 ladies at work asked me what I do to get so skinny :). I told them it's no magic formula - just work hard and eat right and when your body adjust to your workout do something else. Funny story - I was walking to my car in the parking lot at work last week and as I gazed at my reflection in the car like I sometimes do, I noticed them, my cheekbones. My face has slimmed out alot. Oh also the hubby started buying my new wardrobe. I got 3 pairs of jeans (size 10), 1 shirt and 2 denim jackets so far. The reason I got size 10 jeans was so that when I lose these last 9 pounds, I can fit them. Well what do you know, I can fit one pair of them already. The others are slim fit and don't go all the way up the rump but I'm getting there. We got them from pzijeans.com. Jeans made for the curvy woman. Who has a small waist and shapely hips. Most jeans give you a 10 in. differential between waist and hips. Mine is 12-13 inches and with these jeans, there's no gap in the waist! Loving it. My hubby loves me in them so much that he says they can pass for lingerie. Go figure. Be Blessed!

I'm barely in there but I am officially in the 150's ! yeah. Man, it's coming off at a snail's pace but at least I know it's permanent weight loss and not a quick temporary fix. Slow and steady wins the race. Last weekend I smoked a couple of whole chickens in the smoker after soaking in brine. Yummy. This weekend I will smoke a brisket for the hubby ( I don't eat beef) and a filet of salmon for me. So tonight I have to brine the salmon and make a rub and marinate the brisket. I love outdoor cooking. It's healthy and good. I'll just steam some veggies to accompany them. Tonight, I'm steaming crab legs as a surprise for the hubby. He worked out with me twice this week - P90X. SInce I hurt my back, I took a couple of days off. But I'm ready now to ease back into it. No Pain, No Gain. Be Blessed

P90X Day 6, still going strong. I have Kenpo on tonight. My bff (best friend forever) is flying in tonight so maybe we can do it together along with my precious godson. I know he'll be excited to try it (LOL! he's only 2 yrs old but very energetic)

Did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper last nite. Bye Bye cellulite! I feel great. Part of the workout you do a wall squat. So I'm wall squatting in our bedroom and my hubby looks at me and at the tv and says "are you guys taking a break" So I told him to do it and he lasted no time. He was like you guys make it look easy cause I and Tony Horton were still talking. (only to distract from the pain)

Anywho, I have exciting news. Drum roll!!!!!!!!! I went to look for a dress during lunch on yesterday. I had tried on this size 12 a few months ago and it fit, it was now on clearance so I tried it on again and it was TOO BIG. So, that was good but I still needed a dress. Back to the clearance rack, I found a jewel, a fuschia halter silk Jones new york dress for what $9.99? There was one problem though, it was a size 8 and I did not have on a girdle either. Well, what can i lose by trying it on. Well not only did it fit without a girdle but it also had a little wiggle room! Yes, Yes, Yes, My waist is a size 6/8 but my hips aren't however this dress was A-line so I am good to go. Thank You Lord for favoring me! That and other things made my day yesterday. Oh I will take pix in it and post to Just pics so you all can see the miracle.
