I love food I want to taste everything and lots of it. I'm also an emotional eater and its because of those reason I'm extremely obese. It wasn't until my health came under threat that I realised I had to pull my head in and start taking care of myself cause I already had one foot in the grave. With help from my Doctor and Nutritionist I started a healthy eating plan which has change my life, I'm now gluten free and I don't eat sweets anymore or anything made with white flour. No more pasta, oils in a bottle, sauces, mayo, cheese, real butter, sugar, nuts, red meat the list goes on. I'm pretty strict on myself now I think about the foods I'm feeding my mouth breaking it all down in my head before I physically prepare it, no more take-away. Since I started in Feb I've lost just over 40kgs from a whopping 157.4 to last weight-in 2 days ago 116.6kgs. I've got another 40kgs to go to reach my goal weight but small steps right now I just want to get below 100kgs and I'm not about to quit I put to much of myself into this to waste it on giving in to my love of food ... I just say to myself when I see or am confronted with a gourmet delicacies, "Yum I remember what that taste like its delicious," I then step away with that happy thought :).
