So somewhat scary commitment made. Next week I start lifting Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's with a trainer that I worked with several years ago. He's impressed with my weight and understands that I need to be very careful. I have a bone spur in my right shoulder and 2 artificial knees. As we used to say when we were kids, I'm 66 and a half. This is going to to be a process. LOL! NO
I also am joining the YMCA. My swim suit should be here Monday. Then it's water aerobics M-W-F.
I am feeling a bit nervous and overwhelmed. Knowing myself, I set it up so I have structured times to go. I have told others my plans for accountability.
I know this is the next step, but the bats in my tummy are nuclear powered right now. I am entering unknown territory. I've never done this kind of workout schedule before. I'm also entering a weight zone that I haven't seen in over 40 years.
My progress has been very visible and public recently. I have become a reluctant role model in several cases. Kinda scary outside pressure to succeed, even though I am committed.
Hang with me FS friends here I go!
Blessings on all of your journeys. Prayers for your strength and commitment, to Be Your Best You!

Really HATE to return to 20?! Not really unexpected tho. I have more than doubled my water intake. I have also been doing a lot physically. Working in the flower beds and planting, also walking much more. I have not been in a structured exercise program,
just a personal park far away, mini workout bursts at home and stairs. Noticeable change in core and legs. Amazed to now be able to stand from sitting on a 12" bucket working in the garden. Increasing activity levels every day.

I start estrogen replacement therapy Sunday. It is the best option for my kidney, blood calcium and bone density issues along with increasing muscle mass.

Personal notes: youngest daughter has begun her weight loss journey. Down 9# in the first 6 days! Momma Proud!
Middle daughter is working on increasing her activity level.
Dr. says my 3 years of history in her care, has inspired her to work on losing weight. She wanted to talk about my journey. I told her about all of the wonderful people here that support me and lift me up.

I am truly humbled by the effects of my efforts to live a healthier life. I have a lot to do yet. With all of your support and prayers, I am certain that I continue to be successful.

Praying for All God's Blessings on all of you and your journeys!

Had Dexascan on Monday. Nephrologist on Tuesday.
Dexascan showed Osteopenia (Low Mineral Density) pre-cursor to Osteoporosis. Confirmation of my personal diagnosis (Got No Muscles)! Need to EXERCISE! Seriously checking out options in the area.
Nephrologist says yes stage 3A Cronic Kidney Disease. More Blood testing and sonogram of kidneys. Follow up in a month. Increase fluid and NO NSAIDS!
I guess maybe Hubby's diagnosis of Infernal Optimist might be correct. I feel better than I have in 20 years. Not going to let this get me down. I have spent 2.5 years dropping almost 90#. The goal to be healthier is continuing. I just have to refocus on body composition. I am less than 20# from end goal weight. This is within reach.
I am humbley thankful for all the FS friends who support me on my journey. May the winds always be at your backs and the sun shining on your faces. All God's Blessings!

Had a good visit with the Dr yesterday. She's well pleased with my current weight. I have lost 86# in 2.5 years.

BP is really good. The only concern at this point is my decreased kidney function. She did more testing yesterday. Scheduled for bone density scan and a sonogram of kidneys. Also referred to Nephrologist. Absolutely no Nsaids and trying to increase water every day. I'm not diabetic nor do I drink alcohol. Hopefully the discontinued Meloxicam and increased hydration will be enough to improve my kidney numbers.

I am feeling better than I have in many years. It is difficult for me to grasp that I have moderate kidney disease.

I'm thankful that with the support of this community and my family I have lost 30% of my body weight. Your suggestions, information and tips are invaluable. That you share the tough times and struggles, helps to make me feel that I am as normal as I am likely to be. We are all a bit crazy, sometimes we function better than others!

May God's Grace continue to Guide us through the trials and tribulations to the healthy lives we seek. Thank you all for being such incredible people!
