According to the calculator, my RDI should be 1700. I placed it at 1300 to see. Hopefully, I can stick with it at 1300. This should help me lose. Also, I am trying lower carb and no sugar. This combination should work for my food tastes.

I am starting a new year. Once the pork and sauerkraut is over today, I'm
going to only eat whole foods, (real foods), trying to keep my calories at 1,100 daily because I live a seditary life. At computer most of the day. Bought my grand daughter a kickboxing bag so I'm going to use it for at least 2 minutes per day to start.

I wasn't losing any thing so I upped my fat and was going to lower carbs.
Only day 4 and when I was cleaning up after dinner, I ate a spoonful of stove top stuffing. Can't keep it going for only a week! No wonder I don't lose weight.
I am not giving up. At least it was only a tablespoon and not a bowl full. Actually, day 5 tomorrow but back to day 1 - still trying for a short goal of one week at 100%

Every time I start to add lettuce or vegetables like broccoli to my diet of meat, eggs and cheese, I go over my carbs.
I though meat was carbless - I roasted my own turkey, used my slicer to cut it into lunchmeat and it is still 2 carbs.
I think I'll stick to pepperoni.
