I am feeling myself starting to slip with my eating. Of course today isn't going to help with it being Easter.

Yesterday I had a hard time getting myself to get off the couch and exercise but I persevered. I did 50 minutes on the stationary bike and these two videos.

My eating yesterday was another story. Way tooo much sugar. Bad day! Feeling blah today with a slight headache which eating a lot of sugar does to me. I need to remember how crappy I feel today so I don't ever have a repeat of yesterday. Today is going to be equally hard. Just had breakfast. I will have something light to eat at 11 am and then I will have an early easter dinner in the afternoon. Steak (small portion we aren't ham/lamb people), green bean casserole (another small portion), salad (most of my plate), and cake for dessert (small amount).

I may go for a run in a few hours if it warms up. Very cold here in upstate NY. If it doesn't warm up then back to the stationary bike today.
I purchased two workout videos from amazon prime yesterday. They should be here by tomorrow night.

Looking forward to doing something different. Variety is the key. Hoping writing a journal entry will keep me in check today and gets me back in the groove. Have a great Easter everyone!

Down 31 lbs total. I was sooo excited when I saw the number on the scale this morning that I screamed "YES!" My mindset is in a great place right now. Yesterday, I ran for the first time in a long time (2 years). 10 minute miles which is really great considering how long it has been.

A lot of NSV's this week, too many to even list but the best is that we didn't order pizza/wings when we realized that we didn't have the premade pizza round to make our own (a lot healthier). So, instead we had a bean burger, salad and brussel sprouts.

I have to say my husband is looking really good himself. Very proud of him. He is really sticking to it this time. When one of us has a weak moment either with food or exercise the other one is strong enough for both of us.

Even though work has been very busy/stressful this week. I have been able to hold my own and not let it get to me as much as it would have in the past.

My new motto " It's about the journey, not the destination"

We can do this!!!
