Continuing to lose weight. Making good choices and a lot of nsv's. I was getting a little discouraged this weekend so I made a point of finding measurements that I had taken one year ago in January (2014). I didn't take measurements this last December (2014) when I started up again so I sure the numbers would have been bigger compared to the other numbers.
Here is what I found:
Current measurements:
Waist: 33.5 inches (improved by 4.75 inches)
Hips: 39.75 inches (improved by 2 inches)
Thighs: 21.5 (improved by 4 inches)
Upper arm: 10.25 (improved by (1.5 inches)
Very psyched! I know once I reach my weight goal these measurements will help me to stay on track as I will eventually change my focus to becoming leaner/toner.
Oh, I also had to buy another new bathing suit as I have gone down another size. Look out summer here I come!

Slow and steady wins the race. Made up for the increase last week and then some! Back on track for now. 1.8 lbs until I reach my next goal. I can do this!

So bummed. This the first time (edit: just looked at my weight journal and it is the second time, not that it makes me feel any better) that I started this process that my weight is up. I am up .8 lbs. this week. I know that amount isn't that much but I am disappointed in myself. I have to own up to the fact that my food choices could have been better this week. I was craving sugar and I gave in quite a bit. On the upside I ran two times this week. I also had time during lunch two times this week to walk for 30 minutes each time. I was good about not over doing it at a work lunch meeting yesterday. I only had 1/2 a wrap and a small amount of chips. I even turned down a cookie when asked if I wanted one. I know I can do this. I will not let the number on the scale derail me. Onward and upward (actually downward but that would sound funny...LOL).

Did great last night with the pizza & puzzle party with our 5 year old niece and nephew last night. Had two slices of pizza, three wings and a small slice of the giant decorated cookie. Even better, I didn't gain any weight. Best of all the kids had a great time! They loved making their own puzzles! They have already decided that our next party will be a "Breakfast for Dinner" party.
