I have to quantify my entry, the 239lbs I entered is my actual weight I was able to take at home now instead of at work, so for obvious reasons it is going to be substantially less. I weighed in this morning at home at 239.0, then weighed in at work like I did when I started, and it came in at 246.1. A difference of 4.9 lbs. My weigh ins from now on will be much more accurate without the fluctuation of excess clothing, plus I don't need to portray myself heavier than I actually am. When I weighed in at home last Thursday after I got my scale, I was 145.0, so my total weight loss from June 7th to this morning June 12th, has actually been 6 lbs. :-) I am in large keytosis and my wife and I are doing very well. We are walking a lot and that is helping to shed the weight.

I found something I wanted to share with those who are calorie counting. It is an article that shows the exact formula for calculating how many calories a day your body needs to maintain your weight. From there, it shows how to adjust caloric intake/exercise to reach your desired goal weight. I know when I started, everytime I tried to calculate my Basel Metabolic Rate (BMR), nothing ever came out the same and I would get discouraged by being unsure if I was being effective. This site will help take your insecurities away, and it is not hard to understand by the way they explain it. I hope someone finds this information useful and it encourages you to stay the course.
