I am a first generation West African immigrant woman and I am trying to make a complete lifestyle change. Diabetes is now an emerging disease in West Africa and it is because food is more readily available and we are more sedentary. I actually am a health professional and I think that is very hypocritical for me to tell others how to improve their health, when I am not taking any necessary precautions either - one should practice what they preach. I think I have finally found a system that will work for me, as I hate having little books to reference to when eating and I love the food database (so cool)! Not to mention how structured and organized this website is, its like they thought of everything! Love it!

Last 15lbs
Why am I here again!?! Because it is very hard for me to loose and maintain these darn last 15lbs. I know I must stay consistent, so this time I going to go at it for 6 weeks, and just stay committed to eating smaller portions, not giving in to temptations, and not giving in to laziness. Alright here we go!
