OK - Taking a 2 day hiatus from my eating plan, recording foods and exercise - I get my meal plan on Thursday so I'm making the things that I like for the next day and a half before really buckling down! Weigh in on Thursday afternoon and then we really begin!
I will sort of follow what I have started just so I don't ruin all the conditioning of the last couple of weeks - but no counting!

K - new week new start. I get my meal plan on Thursday and have to admit that I'm a little aprehensive. When I first started this I had to keep a food log so that the clininc could see what I'm eating. Almost had a heart attack when I realized taht I was taking in over 4000 calories a day! So I promptly cut that number almost in half. So now I getting used to eating 6 times a day and taking in around 2400 calories. Wonder what they are gonna recommend?

Just finished a great book. I am an avid reader but always had problems reading the"diet" books, they were so dry and full of useless info (Eat Right foyour Type, Dr. Phil, etc.) The clinic that I am attending recommended YOU: On a Diet. I sailed through this book. It was funny and a very easy read. It was full of interesting things that made you stop and think. If anyone out there is interested in finding out how we gain weight and what happens in our bodies as we gain it, get this book. It will really open your eyes!
