Another day in paradise! Got up early this morning (well, a little after 7,that's extremely early for me, as until lately, I didn't do mornings! lol ), ate my usual breakfast, then out for a walk with Dink. He managed 2 miles today, and since I was so hot, I didn't do my extra walk time today. Instead, I did my kettle bell circuit, which is killer, plus some planks. Talk about killer! lol But I learned a little tip. Seems the eating cherries can help with the muscle pain after working out! Since their in season right now, I've been eating a few after plank workouts (which REALLY work your abs and lower back!) and it seems to be true, while I still feel the tightness and pain of having really worked my muscles, neither is as killer as before I started eating those cherries! :)

Just did some housework, now going outside to see how much of my "between the stone" painting I can get done before the rains come in today. I'm getting SO close to finishing this project, can't wait to put it behind me, though I'll miss the APs I earn doing it.

We went to the State Park for our walk today,because of all the trees...makes for a nice shady walk. BUT I used to have a terrible problem with turning my ankle on the unpaved trails. Seems that will all the workouts I do now, my balance has improved BIG time...it was my hubby that turned his ankle today! :D Not badly, just enough to say OUCH...but still it was such a turn around! lol

And we no sooner got home than it started to storm. Loving it, I'm one of those that loves the rain! Of course, since it's our rainy season, it's one thing we're usually not lacking...but usually our storms come in the afternoon and are over in minutes, so to get a REAL rain storm is great!

To celebrate, I've taken the day off...well, mostly. lol No house cleaning, but I will be grilling a nice pork tenderloin for dinner.Then I'll settle in to an evening of computer gaming! YAY, my kinda day! lol Have a great Saturday,y'all!

Well, no loss this week, but no gain either, so I'll take it. After last weekend, I'm jazzed that I didn't have to record a couple pound gain!

Got a great workout in today, 4 mile walk followed by 20 minutes of kettle bell circuit and planks. Those planks are tearing up my abs and lower back, which is a good thing, both are WAY too weak right now. ;)

Also got a hair cut,so probably dropped a pound at least! lol I keep my hair short all year,but during the heavy heat of summer I keep it VERY short.Looking forward to tomorrow's workout,I know I'll be way more comfortable with the shorter hair. ;)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful OP day!The weekend starts this evening (at least mine does!) so hope everyone has their plans ready to help stay OP for the weekend. Me, I'll be grilling a nice pork tenderloin, green peppers and zucchini tomorrow night for dinner. Sunday I'm not sure yet,but maybe cheeseburgers. I've found that I actually LIKE eating cheeseburgers or cheese steaks on Ole Extreme Wellness tortillas rather than rolls! Who woulda thunk it? And at only 1 PPV (or 90 calories) they make my favorite hot sandwiches plan friendly! :) Can't beat that with a stick! lol Happy Friday, y'all!
