Down 3 more pounds! Surprising because I barely got any workouts this week! Got one Tuesday and today. But I did watch my calories as much as possible! So that's a total of 16 pounds since I started trying to lose weight.

Wanted a good workout today but my calves are sore so I used the jogging stroller with a flat tire and walk/jogged around the neighborhood. It was alright as long as I stayed on the side of the road that allowed the weight to go to the side that had air. Little guy did alright but was upset when we got home because I think he thought we were headed somewhere. Poor guy. But I got 30mins of good cardio and sweating! Why are my calves still sore from days ago? I have stretched them. My left calf especially. :(

Hope I am at least down 2 pounds tomorrow. If not, I have to try even harder! And even if my loss is decent, I still need to try hard anyway!

Another 2lbs down! That is a total of 13lbs since I started! And a pair of pants that were getting snug are now getting loose! Yay me! I have gotten really good at scrambling egg whites and my portions are going down! Like last night, instead of two homemade burgers, I had one! And I counted how many baked fries to have based on the serving size on the bag. Also, when I eat tortilla chips and salsa, I stay as close to serving size as possible. Chips and salsa are really filling! The chips are less than 200 cals and the salsa is about 20cals! Sometimes I just have that for lunch! I am planning to get a good workout in today! More than 20mins because I need it. Although, my legs are sore from yesterdays workout. Still motivated, and I plan to stay this way! I am on my way!

This is a private message I sent to my friend who motivated me to get off my butt and get started. I am posting it here so I can refer back to it when I need to reflect on how I am feeling right now. I am feeling good! Thanks Annette!
: Thanks! I really needed the support you gave me though! You definately say the things that I need to hear! It's easy to be defensive when you don't feel like doing something. You're right! If I want it that bad, I have to work hard to get it! I also think about when you said "If it was easy, everyone would be fit!" It is hard. Not all the time, but when it is, IT IS! But no one is going to do it for me, and I can't wait for some magic revelation to motivate me. I know that my size 18 pants were getting tight, and I was lying to myself when I thought I couldn't get any bigger. Feeling miserable. Shameful, sorry for myself, and jealous of everyone else al the time. In actuality, I still don't really know how to do it right, but if I try as much as I know how to and not give up when I do give in to the overeating, then I will be okay. It has been over a month now and I am still motivated, even more so! I read a post in my journal on here, my first one I think, and I DID make alot of excuses. I have lost 11 lbs so far. If I can do that at least 3 more times of the course of the year, I will be much happier with myself. I already am. And I appreciate your help, your example, and your encouragement. <3
