I've been away for a few reasons including, but not limited to, depression. Didn't have enough bandwidth. Some regain that needs to stop and reverse now, so I'm returning to what worked. Good to see you all again, my friends :)

Diet Calendar Entry for 01 July 2023:
1783 kcal Fat: 55.65g | Prot: 91.50g | Carb: 232.05g.   Breakfast: Silk Unsweetened Soymilk, Anthony's Nutritional Yeast Flakes, Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo Bean Flour. Lunch: Wonderful Roasted, Salted & Shelled Pistachios, Grapes (Red or Green, European Type Varieties Such As Thompson Seedless), Vegan Italian Seitan Meatballs, Lifeway Foods Lowfat Plain Kefir. Dinner: Date, Mango, Sourdough bread, Silken mayo, Tomatoes, Cos or Romaine Lettuce , Seapoint Farms Frozen Edamame - Shelled Soybeans, Egg, StarKist Foods Chunk Light Tuna in Water (Pouch). Snacks/Other: Strawberries , Fig, Cucumber (with Peel) , Carrots , Oat Milk, Cantaloupe Melons , Blackberries, Lemon Bar Cookie, Keebler Toasteds Harvest Wheat Crackers, Nancy's Mini Quiche, Fred Meyer Smoked Salmon Spread. more...

russellc -- thanks! It will. 😊 I've lived with mental illness my entire life, and I've learned to treat it like a bad cold. Recognize it'll pass, get some rest, and seek medical care if it starts looking like it's turning into something worse. This bout still is within normal bounds

Welcome back honey. One day at a time. Does exercise help? I have dealt with depression for most of my life as well. Probably lots of us have and whenever i am in a routine with good healthy exercise and good woe i do much better. However, its always just lurking around the corner waiting for an opportunity to overwhelm.

Diana -- will do! StormsGirl -- sounds like a good formula. I got 2 out of your 3 in today. YOH - exercise does help, it's just fiendishly hard to get off the couch to do it when the depression hits. I took a nice, long stroll through the park today, so that helped 😊

Writing i totally get it thats where we have to pull up from deep inside and. Tell ourselves to walk out the door. Usually once I’ve started walking im fine. You have loads of friends here🥰

Thanks, Janie and 2melons 😊 It's good to be back. sk-- this is at a spot in our Botanic Gardens called the Peace Park. A number of the pavers have inspirational quotes. This one felt particularly appropriate for me right now

YOH -- I appreciate your friendship ❤️ Yep, keep moving, no matter how slow. I find for me it's a combo of stepping back from things that stress me (ahem, work) and forcing myself to do the things that heal me, knowing the first 5 minutes is the hardest. Another walk and some fun cooking projects are on the agenda for the day
