Weighed in the morning. Losing water, I think. Tonight I went out for dinner and then wine and a touch of ice cream after. So I'm over where I want to be for today. BUT here are my successes for today: stayed away from a lot of temptation at the work reception and only had a couple pieces of cheese. Left about a cup and a half of rice and potato chips (weird combo for Thai food) in my bowl at dinner. Resisted drinking a mocha this afternoon even though my friend ordered one right in front of me. So I'm working out my willpower muscle pretty good! I'm not going to beat myself up over a little ice cream and too much sugar in my tea at dinner!
Also I worked out today! Did an hour in the vortex pool. Burnt 300-400 cal, probably. Then overshot my plan by about the same amount this evening. Hmmmm. Exactly what exercise research says exercise makes us do. Funny, that.

I'm quite proud of myself for jumping back on my lil red primal wagon. I did macro math this evening and figured out that today's diet is even better than my goal diet will be!
(In case you're curious, here's my goal: SO we have a 18% protein, 17% carb, 66% fat diet within 1400 cals. I'll start bumping up the cals just as soon as I start feeling good enough to exercise again. The full math is in my bio.)
I'm just happy to be back on the fat train again. Sugar makes me sad.

Woke this morning with a serious sugar hangover. It felt like I'd been out drinking! Headache subsided when I got rehydrated. Whoohooo back on the wagon!

Ate another 2 days' worth of cals today! That's despite not having hardly anything for breakfast or lunch. But dinner was Easter with my grad school family away from home and the de-stress is probably worth every extra cal. I loved every bite! Back on the wagon tomorrow.

Regretting eating two days worth of food yesterday. I was too social, but also, I never got full. By the end of the night I could tell I had eaten too much, but didn't feel stuffed at all. Of everything though, I'm only beating myself up for eating the chocolate croissant. That could have been really easy to say "no" to. I guess that's what you get when you work on end-of-the-semester work for an entire Saturday inside when it's beautiful outside and you console yourself with food.
Today I have an Easter dinner to attend with a whole bunch of other goodies. I think I'm just going to let myself have what I want and then restart being strict tomorrow when I'm back to a more normal schedule and social routine.
