MAHI MAHI is my new best friend....i can eat a nice size piece for very few points, i like it and have my rice right along side. this is great! i have always been slightly fearful of fish, but these come in vacuum sealed packs with a little white wine and some seasoning and bake in NO time! perfect for nights when i dont have much time, and while its baking, i can totally jump on my treadmill and run off the calories i am about to consume! feeling really good about this week....dropped 2.2 last week, really hoping for the same this week! cheers to y'all!...oh, and did i mention, i wore a size smaller pants today??? its like christmas every morning when i get dressed as i can actually where all the things i bought over the last year and could never really fit or look good in. while at the grocery store tonight, a gentleman was hitting on me..now i cant figure out if my slight loss is the reason for it as in my figure changing...or my attitude exudes that i feel sexy hot and happy! ohhhh yaaaaaaaa.....i see great things ahead! =)cheers y'all!

k, half through the week and its not lookin so bad. i have really been dead on with my food but not as much with my running. i took sunday and monday off...although i really had no business doing so. my mini goal this week in the back of my head was to work out 4 times this week as opposed to my 3 last week. i can still make that goal..it just means that by procrastinating like i have.....i am now forced to work out each night from here till saturday. weigh in is on saturday, so this could be a good thing....although a true test of my will. tonight will be rough as em has her bellydancing class so we will be getting home late, which means eating late---gonna have to figure something out on that one today....dinner at 4 while still at work??? ugggg
anyway, the treadmill is now 3-4 weeks hold and still not yet a clothes hanger....which was my worst fear and i am really trying to prove myself and everyone who "told me so" that it would happen. anyway, the weight is coming off slowly but surely and i owe alot of it to the running and jumproping. i have surprisingly, not grown nervous about the holidays yet.....and who knows..maybe i wont....i feel very in control right now and have had soooooooo many temptations in the past month that its getting much easier to pass up the donuts that keep finding their way into our office, the ice cream cake we cut to celebrate the office birthdays, the lumpia for big work lunches....the regular sodas that stock our work fridge. and where i sit in my office at work, i am literally 3 feet from the kitchen at all times....of course, i am also 4 feet from the bathroom which has worked out WONDERFULLY since drinking all this doggone water! haha hope y'all are finding your food changes getting easier and feeling in control during this busy time of year! here's to everyone not just maintaining but working closer to goal ....EVEN this time of year--it can be done! cheers.....~jen

WOW....anyone been to tropical smoothie cafe? Well...it all looks healthy and grand...but boy oh boy, can those points add up fast. I had lunch with a co-worker and friend yesterday and got what I have always gotten. I was a little nervous, as they had no nutritional info readily available..but it was a wrap, with spinache, artichokes and lowfat mozzarella. Not bad, right? I have water and an orange..instead of the dreaded cookie or chips they offer you. Well..since I was nervous..I instictively ate very light for dinner. So, this morn I find the sight with the nutritional stats on that POPEYE wrap...14 stinkin point!.. My day wasnt blown..as I had activity points earned to cover and could easily dip onto my 35 bonus points..but ohhhhh that is a high price to pay for some spinach in a wrap! Lesson learned...if you do always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got. A special someone told me that once and it's sooo true. So, next time, instead of ordering on the fly-something I always thought was soooo healthy and low fat..I will look up the stats BEFORE I get there and have to order and feel nervous the whole time I am eating! Lesson learned......hope this helps someone else out there! =) Took the night off the treadmill last night--will kick it hard tonight though to make up...and weigh in tomorrow!!! Wish me well!
