I have struggled for too long. I don't seem to make lasting progress. I must stick to my plan of exercise and cutting calories and find my old slimmer self. I have a walking buddy who will encourage me. I believe it will help.

It doesn't look good (weight wise) but I have been walking daily. I also have begun to do floor exercises. My waist is down one inch and so are my hips. I have more energy, my mood is improved, and I feel better. I think I have concrete hope that I am going to accomplish my goal, even though the scale part is discouraging. I am glad I had enough sense to measure myself before I began this thing. I can actually do jumping jacks now! By the way, my appetite is less out of control as well. Hooray for me!

I know what I need to be doing to get slim but I lack will power. I am trying to recall my youthfull eating and activity practices from even thirty years ago. It may be difficult to get myself moving but I am going to give it a shot.
