UGH! Nothing this week and I was actually feeling like I had lost whereas last week I didn't feel like I had lost at all and lost one pound. Next week I take my measurements and we'll see what they show.

Only one pound again. I knew it wouldn't stay as easy as the beginning 15 pounds but didn't think it would slow down this much. I was really focused again this past week thinking it would step things up again but it didn't work.
Well, it's another week so just going to keep plugging away. I didn't get this way over night and won't lose it over night either. At least I'm going in the right direction.

One pound. I know I can't be disappointed because I just wasn't as diligent this week. I skipped meals, didn't drink my water like I should, and basically just sat on my fat butt thinking this was being pretty easy! I'm re-focusing this week - 3 meals, 2 snacks, 20 carbs and lots of water.
I know I'm telling myself I really want to lose this weight but I'm so lazy I didnt put the effort into it. Pretty sad. This was only the fourth week and I'm already backsliding. Once I've lost the weight it won't matter if I miss a meal occasionally as long as I don't fill the spot with cookies or junk but until I get it off I can't afford for my body to go into starvation mode.
I knew I was sabotaging myself and did it anyway but it's now a new week with new opportunities. FOCUS!!!!!

HOORAY! Another positive week! It has to be more than water weight now. I was a bit worried because I wasn't quite as diligent about watching for hidden carbs and my strips only registered two days this week. I think that's a trap we easily fall into once the weight starts coming off and we look and feel a bit better. I'm going to re-focus this week to make sure I stay under 20 carbs. I'm waiting until the end of May to take my measurements again but can already see a difference in the way my tops fit. I'm an apple body type person with most of my weight around my midsection so it really shows when that gets smaller! High fives to me!!!

Whoohoo! SEVEN whole pounds! I weighed myself 3 times this morning just to make sure I was reading it right. I know people will say it's just water weight but I don't know how you lose that much water when you're drinking 60-90 ounces a day and I have been very good about making sure I'm drinking that much.
I'm using the ketone strips and was a trace to moderate for four of the days this week. I know you don't have to use them with the new Atkins but I find it gives me something to shoot for each day and makes me watch for those hidden carbs more diligently. I'm shooting for at least 5 days this week!
It was so hard not to weigh myself until today but I'm so glad I waited! This may turn into a decent year yet!
