After dieting for a week I actually gained 2lbs but I did drink on the long weekend and I am PMSing so it could just be water retention.....at least that's what I'm telling myself lol

Hello all, As you can see I am a newbie to Fat Secrets. Recently gained about 25lbs after I quit smoking and really need help staying motived and accountable to lose it!! I'm hoping I can make some new buddies that will help me with that.
I'm involved in alot of charities and do tonnes of fundraising all year so finding time to exercise and eat healthy kind of fall to the wayside. I did a couple of charity events this week and worked and sweated (it was 38 degrees all weekend) my butt off - you'd think I would have lost more than .4lbs lol.
I'm like 5foot nothing so 25lbs is very noticeable on my frame - so as it is officially starting to depress me (no bikini for me this summer) I have decided I have to seriously take action.
I am going to try the 5:2 diet...eating as healthy as possible without totally depriving myself on the 5 days and doing my 500 fast days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
So if any of you have any advise or some great low cal recipes I would love to hear from you. Thanks :)
