Well decided that since fiancé is running into town to get some much needed stuff for the house (me and my daughter have the stomach bug) I would get brave and face the scale and was VERY surprised to see that I lost 3 lbs! 2 1/2 weeks and 3 lbs gone. I am beyond stoked cause this means 2 lbs to go before my goal is met! I never thought in a million years that it would be possible for me to reach my goal.. just figured it was a pipe dream but now each day it looks possible! Fiance got here on Wednesday morning and said he didn't recognize me at first cause of all the weight loss and that the pics I sent him didn't do me any justice so that made me feel pretty good! I ended up getting the stomach bug (diarrhea and being nauseous) late Friday night and it is just now going away. Think I lost that 3 lbs through unpacking and diarrhea. My daughter caught it last night around 10ish and has been puking every 2 hours from 1 to 5 so Im hoping she'll be on the mend come this afternoon into the evening time. Last time she had it it only lasted 24-36 hours. Here's to a good week!

This will be another quick entry as I need to log off here in about 10 min so I can get the turkey marinating for tonight and get a car seat installed in my car before having to go pick up my nephew and then we're leaving to head into Madill to meet up with my fiancé and 2 stepdaughters at Braum's for lunch (well brunch since it isn't quite breakfast nor lunch lol). Was on the go again yesterday.. did a lot of walking as I chased after my nephew and then went to walmart to walk around (had to pick up a new phone charger for my phone since the dang kitten chewed up my other one.) and then got home in time to deal with the kiddos. Fixed them dinner and then we all laid down.. well I tried to but that didn't happen very much.. was constantly outside untangling my dog.. he was too excited cause he saw possums in our tree that I couldn't get down so was nearly impossible to fall asleep with is barking but was so tired that I just crashed through his barking. Also didnt help that a friend of mine called me at 11 oclock last night so I knew something was wrong when he called that late. Hoping tonight will be better. Today's work out will consist of unloading a Uhaul which out to be interesting to say in the least.

Today was my first day back to what I consider my "normal" routine. Picked up my nephew today at 10 and played with him for about 30 min before feeding him and laying him down for a nap. While he was napping I baked a batch of my first ever brownies.. hoping they will turn out ok but using my kids as guinea pigs. lol Then got the kitchen cleaned up, ate a quick lunch and then got my nephew up at noon and played with him 30 min inside and then a hour outside. After he went home I went for my first ever walk (been about 2 months since Ive been walking). It felt good to go walking again but did have to fight 10 to 15 mph strong winds.. that really strengthened my legs! I plan on getting a quick walk in tomorrow morning after kids go to school.. was going to this morning but chickened out cause of how cold it was. Whether its cold or not tomorrow morning I plan on making myself go on that walk. I am trying to get myself prepped for when spring is here and can go walking at least 2x a day. I still plan on doing the toning work outs during the afternoon or evening time. Trying to cut out MOST sugars again too.. I feel like im detoxing myself lol I mean some sugar here and there will be good for my system but I don't need a lot of it ya know? Been doing good on drinking lots of water too... still trying to set a good example for my kids which seems to be working for 2 of the 3 kids. Michael still isn't keen on drinking water. *sigh* Wish there was a way I could get him to drink more of it.. if any of you has any ideas Im open to any suggestions! 2 days till my fiancé is here.. cant wait. :)

I will openly admit that I did not do much of anything yesterday. It was my lazy day. Will start back up on exercising today. Even though Ive been on the go this week I don't feel like I lost much weight but have noticed that I am losing inches though especially around the hip area where my love handles are slowly smoothing down and don't look as lumpy anymore. Will weight in tomorrow real quick before I am having to pick up my nephew for a few hours. Chasing after him and playing with him will be quite the work out. Weather is starting to warm back up again (50's & 60's as highs) so I think tomorrow morning after kids go to school I'll start walking again. I really do miss doing that. For me it was a good way to get rid of stress and aggravation. Fiance and my 2 step daughters leave tomorrow and should be here between Tuesday and Wednesday but not sure on what day exactly. I am excited but nervous at the same time cause I KNOW on how his eating pattern is (mostly junk food) so is going to be difficult to stay on task with MORE temptation around the house but way that I see it.. if I can get through the last few months with holidays being around then I can get through with his bad eating habits and who knows.. maybe I can turn him around eating wise. One can hope!
I do admit it feels like I haven't lost much weight if any at all but does look like Ive lost inches. This back and forth is something else.. if it isn't weight Im losing then its inches and if it isn't inches im losing then its weight. As long as Im losing something in this process then I am happy and am truly a winner. :)
